NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

AU DESIGN SLAM: C&P hits the Strip with major 3D action. See for yourselves.

Cut&Paste produced its first competitive 3D design event last week at the 2008 Autodesk University conference in Las Vegas. Showcasing ridiculous talents in architecture and industrial design in three separate competitions, the AU DESIGN SLAM was a hit with the crowd and a blast to be a part of (albeit in nerve-racking, 20-minute spurts of crazy-eyed activity), and we're totally amped about the fact that soon we'll be taking 3D around the world as part of Digital Design Tournament 2009.

Congrats to Craig Barbieri, Henry Goecke, and David Fano on their hard-earned wins!

Check out the updated event page for details, photos, and to judge the work for yourself - competitors have shared their concepts and their designs for your viewing pleasure.

2009 CALL FOR COMPETITORS: ENTRY PERIOD STARTS NOW!

Digital Design Tournament 2009 is starting her engines. The annual Call for Competitors opens today, with two deadlines: January 14 for cities in North America, and February 6 for the Europe and Asia/Pacific regions.

Cut&Paste is producing THREE competitions for this year's tournament - 2D, 3D, and Motion Design - and throwing together the winners from each of 16 cities (all 48 of them!) for our first-ever GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP. You win your city, and we'll fly you to New York to go up against the world.

So don't procrastinate or get lazy, the entry deadline will fly right on by and, before you know it, the show will start without you. Whip out your portfolios, finish up what you've been making, and get crackin' on your entry form. We hope to see you in New York next June!

C&P powers the 55DSL Logo Remix: Dec. 5 Deadline!!
